The first impression of this work is admiration. He began to photograph general plans and the detailed study of the elements of the ceiling captured headlong.
What is the secret of this work of art — and is it exactly that? Maybe in number 12. A person, surrounded by this rhythm of numbers, does not even notice his involvement in multiple reality: time, signs of the Zodiac, months — we live in this as a given.
Alexey Korobka’s magnificent ceiling captures the history of every detail. Here there are snails and plafonds, appealing with their scenes and colors to tapestries … Working with such a thing is a joy. I immersed myself in the history of each plafond, looked at the roots of trees that went beyond the binding, and guessed the paths of the snails. The combination of rough soldering of stained glass in the Tiffany style and the elaborate details of the heads of birds of prey is fascinating. And roses look like descended from the creations of the Pre-Raphaelites.
Each viewer will find in this ceiling his own element of decor, ornament, without losing the general impression of the outstanding work of art.
